Life-Science Innovations (LSI) provides strategic guidance, administrative support and capital funding to grow, develop, and sustain our current and future affiliate companies as leaders in the life sciences and engineering. LSI provides these companies with the resources they need to successfully reach their present and future potentials.
Our affiliate companies are in the biotechnology, engineering, genetics, and agricultural industries. Notable names include Epitopix, Nova-Tech Engineering, Syntiron and Ag Forte (see Affiliated Companies for a full list of affiliates). Our affiliate family employs over 1,500 people across Minnesota, Kansas, Missouri, Ohio and Virginia.

LSI is located just 90 miles west of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, in Willmar, Minnesota. LSI and several of its affiliates house their headquarters on the beautiful MinnWest Technology Campus, which is the country’s largest privately held technology park. MinnWest is a thriving technology community for like-minded businesses in the fields of agriculture, technology, science and energy.
Willmar is a great agricultural business community of 20,000 offering a clean, safe environment on the edge of the prairie and lakes region. Just a few highlights include new schools, a renowned medical and hospital system, a community college, and new businesses and housing developments emerging every year. Indoor and outdoor recreational opportunities abound, including access to many regional lakes, the Glacial Lakes State Trail, Sibley State Park and the Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center. Willmar is a regional hub for shopping, dining, entertainment and services, and is the seat of Kandiyohi County.
