Regional Grant Competitiorn Aerial Data lmagery The Research Mission is to prove the economic viability for and facilitate commercial technology transfer of aeri Al/ML to advance the transfom of agriculture, renewal energy public utilities and/or public safety in the Red River Valley. A successful applicant will submit a proposal to complete 2-3 aerial imaging related Al/ML proof of concept field tests that can be conducted in 2019 and 2020. Each feld test will specify a problem to solve" for the related field in the region and have a clear plan to complete an at-scale proof- of-concept of a technologically sound and economically feasible path to solve the problem. Grant recipient must show the ability to operate an owned or leased fleet of small-engine aircraft, including arrangements for required pilots al imaging solutions that leverage ation . Grant recipient will agree to build its technology solution using Microsoft Azure and Azure AVMLNOT solution stacks Grant Submission: Applicant shall provide a written proposal outlining the team, budget, timeline and proposed architecture for conducting 2-3 proof-of-concept tests between January 2019 and December 2020. The proposal shall include the key terms of the technology transfer agreement that will allow for commercialization of the offering viability assessments for each of the current assumptions about the Grant Recipient Criteria: A successul The proposal shall also include initial applicant must be a Red River Valley-based university or nonproft 2-3 proof-of-concepts, summarizing capable of advancing the Research Mission.
