Commencement of the Work on the project shall be subject to the discretion of The Park District of the City of Fargo. The Bidder shall state on the Proposal Form the time in calendar days, from date of "Notice of Award", or by August 28, 2025, Bidder guarantees completion of the project. Sealed bids will be received by The Park District of the City of Fargo, hereinafter known as the "Owner" for the Cornerstone Bank Arena Ice Plant Replacement Project. Bids for "All Work" including General, Ice Systems, Plumbing, Heating/Air Conditioning, Ventilating, and Electrical will be received until 2:00 pm. local time November 13, 2025 at the The Park District of the City of Fargo offices (6100 38th Street South) and will be publicly opened and read aloud in the same location. No formal pre-bid meeting will be conducted for the contractor. Bidders are encouraged to visit the site to familiarize themselves with the existing conditions. Site visits shall be coordinated with The Park District of the City of Fargo through IMEG Corp. The Park District of the City of Fargo reserves the right to hold all bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the day fixed for the opening of the bids, and the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities. The sales of paper copies for projects listed on the site are not available. Important note to Bidders: If partial sets are requested by Bidder, the Bidder is responsible for all related information from other drawings/specification sections. Architect is not responsible if Bidder does not obtain necessary information for developing an accurate/complete bid. Bids must be submitted on copies of the bid form in the specifications and must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a bidder's bond in the sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the bid and a copy of the Contractor's license or Certificate of Renewal thereof issued by the Secretary of State. Bid proposals must be in a separate envelope that clearly identifies the bidders name, project name, and the Owner's name on the outside. Bid proposals must be submitted on copies of the bid form provided in the specifications and in its own envelope. A separate envelope shall be provided containing a bidder's bond in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the bid executed by the bidder as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in this state, conditioned that if the bidder's bid be accepted and the contract be awarded to the bidder, the bidder, within ten (10) days after notice of award, will execute and effect a contract in accordance with the terms of the bidder's bid and a contractor's bond as required by law and the regulations and determinations of The Park District of the City of Fargo.
