Neurosurgery Physician's Assistant Join Our Busy, Established and "Well Known" Independent Orthopedic Clinic! Looking to hire Physician Assistant to work directly 1:1 with complex spine surgeon. Practice is primarily 90% elective spine with 10% cranial/trauma. Employment responsibilities would include: Evaluate new patients in office setting with neurosurgical complaints, order appropriate diagnostics tests and therapeutic interventions Interpretation of spinal imaging studies including x-rays, CT's, myelograms,and MRI studies Assistant with routine postop visits and follow-up care Accurate medical documentation, coding, and office paperwork completion Function as surgical assistant for neurosurgical operative cases Assist with completion of hospital rounds as directed by physician Assist with hospital rounds and discharges throughout week Previous surgical experience preferred, but willing to train motivated and dedicated candidate committed to providing outstanding patient care.
