The Minnesota Wheat Research and Promotion Council (MWRPC) and the Minnesota Association of Wheat Growers (MAWG) are seeking candidates for three positions in Red Lake Falls, MN. The MWRPCand the MAWG work together as Minnesota Wheat, in a unified, focused, and effective manner to improve the profitability of the Minnesota wheat industry. From research and educational programs to lobbying in Washington and St. Paul, their missions are to build programs that have long-lasting impact for Minnesota wheat growers. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: Will serve as the principal administrator of both organizations, collaborating and building consensus on strategic direction for both groups. Candidates should bring a passion for agriculture with a proven ability to lead with a rolled-up sleeves approach. Candidates must be able to build relationships and leverage resources to develop impactful initiatives for Minnesota's 1.5 million-acre wheat industry. Full-time. Salary commensurate with experience education and skills ON-FARM RESEARCH SUMMER COORDINATOR: Will assist with the seasonal operations of MN Wheat's On-Farm Research Network including trial establishment and harvest, data collection, research reporting, and organizing outreach events. Temporary, up to 6 months. Hourly Salary commensurate with experience, education and skills ON-FARM RESEARCH SUMMER TECHNICIAN: Will assist with the establishment, data collection, and harvest of replicated strip trials for MN Wheat's On-Farm Research Network.
