In 1949, two hard working Midwesterners – John Bolton and Martin Menk – saw people in their surrounding communities with dreams of a bright future, a desire to grow, and a common challenge of aging infrastructure. Their goal: to help communities make progress by listening to what people want, finding the best solutions for their needs, and treating them right. The legacy of John and Martin lives on. We still want to help, we work hard every day, and we always remember what got us here – we’re people helping people. Today, Bolton & Menk, Inc. has more than 450 employees including a professional staff of over 150 engineers, planners, landscape architects, and surveyors. Bolton & Menk specializes in providing public infrastructure solutions. We want to take care of our clients by providing the best services and solutions for them. From advocating for our communities, to designing their dreams, to finding funding; we take pride in our work throughout the Upper Midwest. Because we live here too.
