Are you hunting this year? We need your help. HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO DO. 1 Know your deer permit area (DPA) number Look in the hunting regulations or online to find the DPA of your hunt location: mndnr.gov/deer/local Find out if mandatory CWD sampling or other special CWD regulations impact your DPA 2 The date and location of your hunt will determine requirements and options. Regulations impact carcass trophy deer preparation, meat processing and other aspects of your hunt. Make a plan 3 Read the full regulations and sampling options for your DPA to determine what you will need and want to do with your deer. You may need to adjust your traditional steps.
