CHIROPRACTIC CARE My teenage daughter has been complaining of knee pain during gym class and when bowling. She hasn't injured the knees, and they don't seem to bother her otherwise. What can we do to reduce her pain? Especially with bowling, she is lunging with all of her weight onto one leg, putting more stress on the knee. The repetitive stress may cause pain if the musculature supporting the knee is weak, the arches in the feet are not properly supported and/or subluxations (misalignment of the joints) exist in the foot, ankle, and/or knee. Ice after any sporting event which increases pain to reduce inflammation and have her knee(s) examined by a chiropractor or orthopedist to determine proper diagnosis and treatment. Dr.Brook A.
